Paintball:
- The bus is booked and 15 people minimum spots are reserved

Roboticon:
- Need Volunteers for Roboticon for 2 days March 21 and 22, 2009
- All the hard work is done already
- Volunteers will be working in ROZH 102 and 104.
Mafia:
- There will be a Mafia game after the meeting!!

POLICY DOCUMENT 2008-1: with the permission of either the president or the vice president, any part time or full time student at the university of Guelph who expects to complete the majority of their academic requirement in Guelph, Ontario may become a member by privilege of SOCIS, per the sixth article of the SOCIS constitution (2006).
With respect to the 5th clause of the 6th article of the SOCIS Constitution (2006), no additional restrictions shall be placed on members by privilege by this policy document.
The per-semester fee for membership by privilege shall be the higher of: (a) the basic semesterly fee; (b) Five dollars.
This policy document is Subject to Annual Review.

- Held the last election promise to re-crimp the cables

- What would you do for environment as SOCIS uses a lot of power?
- Push for power saving technology

- 2nd year in Agriculture but switching to Computing this year
- Ideas about projects that can expand SOCIS
- Push matters like open source, net neutrality
- Also, get people with specialized knowledge to teach other people about their knowledge in computer science
- Getting the public to get interest in SOCIS more so than SOCIS getting interest of people
