Residence used to have
Residence used to have UWGoLan which was incredible for movies, music, and various other "genres" of media. I could download movies, bandwidth free as it was internal, at 10MB/second.

Back when I was in res most people just had shared folders / samba set up. Read-only shares worked beautifully.
