Open IT Job in Burlington

Hey Everyone,

The company I work at is looking to hire another IT support tech immediately. I know the people in this forum are probably more interested in software development positions, but you might know someone who would be interested in this job...

It is a full time position and the office is located in Burlington (about a 20 minute commute from Hamilton/Oakville/Mississauga)

Responsibilities would include:

- Troubleshooting Windows Server and Desktop issues
- Implementing and troubleshooting TCP/IP networks including VPNs
- Implementation and management of virtualized IT infrastructures using VMware solutions
- Implementation and management of Microsoft enterprise solutions (Active Directory, Exchange Server, Sharepoint, SQL Server, etc.)
- Windows/UNIX/Linux integration with tools such as Samba and Openfiler for SAN networks
- Implementation and Management of Backup Solutions

The company is a Microsoft Certified Partner and has been around for 10+ years with a diverse range of clients across many industries.

For anyone interested in software development positions, we aren't currently hiring fulltime.. however I am looking for 1-2 people to join my development team, potentially in a future coop or internship position.
