Mark all as read

This was suggested WAY back before I even had anything to do with SOCIS, when the site changed from cs-club.org. A button that marks all posts in that forum as read. Handy if I fall behind on the agenda page, or something.
Just my two cents. Obviously not a high priority

I'll add it to the list of changes for the website. But, it probably won't happen until we update to Drupal 6. Thank-you for the suggestion.

I can't remember what the issue was that prevented them from doing it in the first place. Some issue where the button wasn't marking them properly, or not noticing unread threads... It's the same reason that new posts aren't always shown from top level. Sorry about the vagueness, but I wasn't really into web development back then.
If the problem is still confusing/difficult, may I suggest an "expiration" date for messages that we could configure in our profile info? So if the message is unread after 1 month, 6 months, whatever, it gets marked as read anyway? Shouldn't be too bad to write.
